Information about garage plots owned by New Charter and how to rent one

About garage plots
New Charter Homes has a number of garage sites throughout the Borough. The sites are predominantly located within or around our housing estates in the Tameside area.
There are 2 different types of sites we manage. The first type is where the garage structure is let. If you are interested in these garages you will need to contact our Support Services on 0161 331 2400.
The second type is where the garage plot (base) is let and the tenant is responsible for erecting their own garage structure. The details of these sites are shown below.
Where are the sites?
We currently have about 70 sites across the Borough with a total number of
over 600 plot spaces.
Each
site currently has from one to 35 vacant plots.
Please use the following table to view them. You can also find out their exact locations by clicking on the 'View Map' option. The maps are provided by MultiMap and open in a new window. Close this window when finished.
Make a note of the plot site [and the
Town] if you decide to make an enquiry about them. This is handy in the next stage.

How much does it cost?
The annual rent for a plot is £100. If you are not a New Charter tenant you will also be liable to pay VAT. There is also a one off charge of £100 for the preparation and execution of a new agreement.

How do I get one?
You will need to make an enquiry about them using the online form provided [link below]. You can use the form to:
Make an enquiry about acquiring a plot;
To terminate an existing vacancy of a plot; and/or
To report a problem to us.
We will let you know if a plot or plots are available and will set the wheels in motion so that you could get one.
