Satisfaction Survey 2008
We are committed to finding out the views of our tenants and then acting
on the issues raised. One of the many ways we do this is by is running
large-scale opinion surveys.

A respected, independent firm accredited by the British Market Research
Association, PH Research undertook the survey. They interviewed 1000
tenants by telephone in January 2008.

We are proud of the results. We have measured satisfaction yearly since
2002 and the trend is a remarkable improvement in satisfaction ratings
from our tenants. Almost 92% of tenants now consider we are doing a
good job, with more than half of all tenants saying they were "very
satisfied". This is the third year in succession we have achieved
the best satisfaction rating for any large landlord in England. Satisfaction
with opportunities for participation fell from our high point in 2007,
but at 86% remained as good as any large landlord countrywide. And
only one landlord claims to better our repairs satisfaction of 87%.
We are delighted with the verdicts from customers, especially where
they reflect the hard work we've done to address concerns from past
surveys. Our business plan for 2008/09 incorporates what we've learnt
from the survey. We will continue to work to improve these results
for neighbourhoods, customers and excellence.
