What is 'Choice-Based Lettings?'
This is the way New Charter now lets most of our homes. It allows you to be actively
involved in selecting your new home.
In order to take part in the scheme, you will need to be accepted as a
member. If you are not already a member and wish to join please click on
the link below that will open a leaflet that we have prepared explaining the
scheme:

To join the scheme you will need to complete an Application/registration
form. These are available from any of our high street shops. You can
also telephone our Relets team on 0161 331 2345 and request a registration
pack.
Once you have been accepted as a scheme member you may bid (or express
an interest in) up to 3 of the homes currently available. Each
property includes information about the type of household who should
apply. If your application does not meet this profile, your bid will
not be accepted.

Pre-Tenancy Support
New Charter Housing Trust offer a pre-tenancy support service that provides a range of advice and assistance to help residents to manage and sustain their tenancy. We will help customer to realise the costs of running a home and give information about the responsibilities of becoming a tenant of New Charter Housing.
